entry thumb not in unfolded article

Hi
Has anybody an idea how to manage a thumb in the folder serendipity_entry, which I don´t want to show up, when the article ist unfolded. *
*maybe because you got the big picture in the upcoming text and don´t want the teaser to show up...
*this might be a feature request....
