Something similar to this would be great

only thing we need is automatic chmod thingy, rest we already have.
Plus hide the system check. Show only if it doesn't meet requirements. or have an expand option. It will give the illusion of being dead simple.

right now its dead simple but the look is complex. change to dead simple with dead simple looks.
believe me this will have lot of effect on new users.

This is definitely a nice thing for the future, but requires recent PHP versions to work easily.

It is also harder to debug if problems during installation happen, so there are still some things to figure out.
