exporting

Sorry if this is in the wrong forum, but I need to know how to backup all my data as I purchased another domain name and would rather have my blog on it. So, I need to export everything as it is. Can I simply just copy all the files over?

Well, copying all the files over is only one part of the move. You also have
to move the database. You'd need to back up the database from the older
server and restore it at the newer server.
