I have seen this in Coppermine- so I dare to ask: I woudl like to set up my weblog in serendipity, need a few (minor and clearly defined ) graphic changes AND in want to embed my coppermine gallery.
Who would, could and for how much$$?
I fiddled one year on my previous one that is ok, but i think perfect is better than fiddled.
My Host www.tophost.it has all set up to run what one needs, i think...
Grazie
Renata

I could help you on the issue. Do you have your s9y blog already installed? Would iframe embedding of the coppermine gallery be okay for you? That's by far the easiest and technically workable solution for embedding a full gallery.

Depending on the amount of exact changes I could give you a $$$-estimate (Paypal preferred *g*)... Either write it up here on the forums or send me a PM/mail.

Regards,
Garvin

No cost, always good

Garvin can help you in creating a well designed, seamless integration of coppermine and serendipity, of that I'm sure. He is the best! But if you want a low cost (read free) integration, just use the wrapurl plugin and have a page that brings up your coppermine gallery within the serendipity wrapper. Check out my site for an example. Click on Photo Albums. Free is always good!

Garvin told us how to use Coppermine here:

http://www.s9y.org/forums/viewtopic.php?p=2321#2321

I myself use this way to have a gallery with my s9y. this isnt a 100% solution, because I still have one problem without a solution (the fullsize image view), but maybe Ill one day solve this problem and be happy with it.

do what you can, try hard, and spend some $ before going mad

i have done very well with garvins's help as he not only set my "stuff" up for me, but also gave me extremely detailed explanation how he did it- means i could use it on my other site easily. of course, in the forum one gets there in the end - just with my sometimes very basic  problems i rather not clutter the community. i followed your hints, helped me understand quite a few things, but on setting up i wouldn't have made it by myself... grazie!!! renata
