On my blog, some members can only post comments.
When they connect to do that, the update notification box is displayed and they can start the automatic upgrade. Is it possible to suppress this possibility?
Best regards,
Fabien

The upgrade of the serendipity version?
Re: Members and upgrade
You can remove the autoupdate plugin, then there will be only a notification about available updates, without the option to start it.
But I'm surprised that you say the box starts the upgrade for those users, they should not have the necessary right to do so. They really are supposed to be able to configure the blog?

Re: Members and upgrade
Thanks for your answer, Onli. I'll suppress the autoupdate plugin and reinstall it when I decide to make the upgrade.
"I'm surprised that you say the box starts the upgrade for those users, they should not have the necessary right to do so."
The box is displayed. They haven't try to make the upgrade and perhaps the upgrade button is inactive.
Do you know what is the parameter controlling this right?
Best regards,
Fabien
