Creating an "About Me" section along the sidebar

Hello,

I have been trying to create a static section along the right sidebar--an about me section.

I tried:

Installing Spartacus

Grabbing the static page sidebar plug in

Grabbing the static page event plug in

But I did not know what to do from there to create it.

I also tried:

Grabbing the "contact me" plugin and putting the about me stuff in the text but this did not show up and seems to need more configuring.

Would someone be so kind as to walk me through the steps? I am VERY new, so will really need a STEP by step easily understood walk through on this. Assume that I know nothing at all.

The site is: www.blogthebloggers.com

The text to eventually wind up in an About Me sidebar is:

"Blog The Bloggers is written by a doctor and a lawyer and a musician (that's one person) living within sight from his balcony of the U.S. Capitol in Washington, DC. Contact: Blogthebloggers@aol.com"

Thank you!

This did not result in the side

I think what you want to do is very easy. Just install a "HTML Nugget plugin" (Sidebar plugin) and insert your HTML content there.

The staticpage things are for different issues, where you want to show completely own pages within the serendipity layout.

Regards,
Garvin

Question: Do you want this text to show up in the sidebar (lets say under the calendar) or in the text area, where the entries are located?

"About me"

What would be the html i would need to do this?

Thank you!
