The new(er) version of this plugin allwys visitors to display multiple categories at once.

The current default is set to yes.

for compatibility with blogs that didn't have this plugin version previously the default should be set to no.

But I think with default to off, no one will use the feature because he might not know about it. The reason for inventing it is that it can help to recognize serendipity and make it available to all visitory, without the owner having to finetune anything.

So I think it's good to default it to on to propagate the feature.
