Real Status of Serendipity?

Whenever I go to the News section of the serendipity website:

The news is always the same, and the Timestamp has the current date/time on it.
Before I start using this, I'd like to know where its at in development, or release.

We're close to a release
The first s9y release is almost done! TomSommer and I are pushing hard towards a release, and we're almost done. Only need to pimp up the default style, and we're ready to go. Expect the release within the next 3 days!

Internationalization implemented
Puh, 3 hours of going through sourcecode looking for language-output sucks. I'm done now though, the current CVS supports English and German. Feel free to commit language files
