Dear all,
I've returened to my blog after some time and put a new entry. But it now puts many many lines like this one above my blog http://www.duurzaamnu.nl:

Error redirect: == SERENDIPITY ERROR ==
Non-static method serendipity_event_freetag::makeURLTag() should not be called statically, assuming $this from incompatible context in /domains/duurzaamnu.nl/DEFAULT/plugins/serendipity_event_freetag/serendipity_event_freetag.php on line 486

Is anyone in the position to direct me towards a solution? I'm not technical enough to detect what this could be.

I'm running Serendipity 1.7.8 and PHP 5.6.27-1~dotdeb+7.1

You need to update your serendipity version to a recent one which supports your new PHP version.

However, the problem seems to have "solved itself" cause the errors are no longer there.
But I'll update anyway.
