updating version

I have version .7.1 installed and want to upgrade to .8. Is there a quick and easy way? Is there an update script?
Download the 0.8.1 version (http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/php- ... z?download), unzip the files in your current blog directory (overwrite the old files), use your browser to go to your blog, and follow the directions.
I generally copy a backup of the root directory and I have nightly sql dumps, just in case, but I have never had a problem with the automated upgrade system.
