Five thousand

So this is the 5000th time that I have posted more or less useful stuff in this forum over the past seven years. Approaching this milestone over the past couple of weeks, I realized I wanted to state one thing with it:

I may have contributed my share of things to S9y over the past couple of years, but most of all, S9y and it's community of users and developers have given me a lot of things. I probably would not earn a living with what I do (and love doing) today if I hadn't discovered S9y and learned a lot of my craft while figuring out how to use S9y and make it better. That also means I probably wouldn't have gotten to know a lot of wonderful people, either. And while I realize it's hard to understand for non-devs that we as devs consider developing and figuring out bugs and issues to be fun, it actually is. I've had a lot of fun with S9y over the past couple of years, and I intend to have much more fun with it in the future.

So thank you, S9y community. :)

YL

Congrats to you! :)
I think now you can liftoff to your vacation!
(...and bring back some more templates ;-) ...you said: "2-4"! )

Glückwunsch YL! You shouldn't write some time here to conserve the counter.

That sounds fucking pathetic in englisch, I'll say it anyway: You brought a lot into this community. 2k11 is highly popular - and having a modern frontend-template available is very valuable for the project. And even though I'm probably too close to judge that properly, I think the backend template is going to be equally great.

I enjoy working with you, stick around.

I am late in my response, but I will echo what other's have said. The value of your contributions to s9y cannot be over stated. I have no doubt that your continued contributions will be equally impressive!
