I have a serendipity installation on my cPanel hostpaedia account. I recently got an email from Softaculous saying that there is an upgrade available. Can anyone point out how to upgrade serendipity with Softaculous ? I am new to all this. I had got this installed from the hostpaedia guys as I am not a techie. Please assist.

You'll need to ask your hoster on this, as we don't know what they might have changed in their installer to let Serendipity work in their systems.
Latest release was 1.6.2 - nearly one year ago.
We currently have an 1.7 RC roll out to test.
