Running s9y 1.5.5 PHP 5.4.6

When examining media/photos there is an option to load 8/16/50 photos per page

This doesn't work! I only get 8 photos per page.

Is there a way to fix this without upgrading?

Apart from the fact that you could get a better blog when upgrading....
could you please post the adress url parameters you get, when you select a number and have pressed the GO button. This might help to investigate why this does not work in your case.

upgrading is a hit or miss to the server running s9y using vnc to connect. I'm afraid I'll mess s9y up and not be able to recover

Yes. It is missing all the needed vars of sortorders and filters, in special the hidden token permission, that allows you to sort your media library and the serendipity[sortorder][perpage]=16.

Do you have the right permissions to access this properly?

Once you select the number of items to display, are you then clicking the button labeled "go" (you should)?

Yes, good to ask, but I already told to press the go button... and even if not, using next link should proceed with &serendipity[sortorder][perpage]=8, where the example GET has nothing....

Yes I have full permission.
It's my server running Linux Fedora 14
I'm overseas the server is in the states.
I have VNC access but it's a choppy screen output


I thought I was hitting the GO but oops.. no I wasn't and it's working now. .oops
