Google PANDA Update und Penguin

Ich bekam heute folgende Mail betreffend meines Themes (i3Theme):
Wenn ich das richtig verstanden habe, dann wird man von Google schlechter bewertet, wenn man auf jeder Seite Links zu einer anderen, immer gleichen Seite hat. Da ein Link zu webhostinggeeks.com im TPL installiert wird, habe ich diesen wunschgemäß entfernt.
Mir ist auch klar, warum das eingeführt wurde, damit soll wohl ein alter Webmaster-Trick verhindert werden, dass man eine andere Seite innerhalb einer Webseite möglichst oft verlinkt. Aber für einen BLOG ist das doch die Todesstrafe! Oder habe ich da etwas falsch verstanden.

As you probably heard Google has released the new algo updates "Panda
3.5" and "Penguin" that targets sites with sitewide (on every page) links.
This means that your site http://hadley.de/ as well as
http://webhostinggeeks.com
will most likely fall under Google filter and geet lower search rankings
in seacrh.
To avoid Google penalty simply edit your WordPress templates footer.php
file and remove the link to webhostinggeeks.com
There are two ways to edit your Wordpress theme footer.php.
1) FTP client brows to /public_html/wp-content/themes/[theme
name]/footer.php
2) Use WordPress Interface:
a) login to your WP admin panel: http://hadley.de/wp-admin/
b) On the Left Select: Appereance => Editor
c) On the right select Footer.php
Simply find and remove this code from the footer.php:
