Spartacus is not updating?

Huh? I have a very strange situation: Spartacus reports a new version of a plugin, I press update and it installs without any error message (all downloads green and the plugin file holding the version number is downloaded).

When I check my plugins, the plugin still is the old plugin (with old version and functionality) but Spartacus reports "no new plugin" now.

I have to go into the configuration of Spartacus, change the XML source (and change it back), what deletes the local cache. After this Spartacus is reporting the update again, but updating does the same.

It's about CommentSpice (having 1.01, reported is 1.02). Is there a wrong download listed as 1.02 perhaps?

Which S9y and Spartacus version is installed? And when did you commit?
Maybe it takes two days, as Garvin said. Last nights XML sync looks good.

Well.. No matter how long it takes: The XML should not report a newer version it can deliver, should it? Spartacus will deliver, after Garvins computer calculated the new XML files and updated them on GitHub. My first update check was only 2 minutes after this took place. Perhaps this was the main reason causing these problems?

But it is getting even more strange: In the meantime the plugin is updated (and I didn't check for updates) Is there some local plugin cache? Very confusing..

Anyhow, This should not be a matter of minutes, as it is calculated by timestamps.

Maybe its an Uebernaut'ic (cache) issue?
