Hi,

I was just wondering as to how strong is s9y blogging script.

Does it get slow or tend to create any kind of problems, when the postings reach a certain level or kind of commenting and others put together reach a certain level ?

How much can it handle. Any test or any experienced user of s9y ?

Thanks much
Cheers

There are quite a few benchmarks made recently, but most of them being in german. I don't have the links handy right now.

The bottom line is that Serendipity's performance is nearly the same as WordPress. Both systems operate dynamically and face the same problem when under heavy load and having many entries.

WP as Serendipity both have plugins for pre-generating/caching pages, which should be used under those circumstances.

Basically "it works", but it always depends on your specific provider/host/entry setup.

Regards,
Garvin
