Hi, the time of an entry is recorded when an entry is started and not when it is finished. Some entries may take a while to write, though, and the time would not be an accurate representation of when the entry was posted.
Is there an option to make Serendipity record the time when the entry is finished, rather than started?

Sure, just click once on the "clock" symbol before posting the entry.
Most users prefer to get the date where they started the entry...
