Database issues...

I installed Serendipity on my server (1and1.com) and everything seems to be correct, however, its saying no Database Extensions. I have started a database through the server's control panel, so not sure what I am doing wrong, or if there is a configuration page I need to access to direct the program to the server's databases. Am I missing a step or just ignorant to proper database use?

Hi!
This means that on the Server, your PHP does not have any database modules. If you have root access, install modules ike "php5-mysqli".
