ScribeFire and Serendipity - can they work more transparent?

Post by LazyBadger »

Tried to use ScribeFire (Next 1.7.1 - Firefox) for posting into s9y and got big headache (Serendipity1.5.5 + event_xmlrpc 1.45, MT engine)
* Can't enable commenting from SF interface
* No tags section for adding tags
* Can't define "scheduled posing" - publication time is always a time of last save

Can these problems be solved on Serendipity side somehow?

Hi!

The XMLRPC plugin could change that, for that you'd need to inspect the XML-RPC procedure calls, see what ScribeFire sends, and check why the plugin does not "catch" on it. Most probably, either SF does not send the data, or uses a field that is not expected...
