'Manage styles' not showing in Admin sidebar

Hi guys,
I'm new to all this web stuff and I have just started using RVSitebuilder and its Blog feature that turns out to be Serendipity.
I can't change themes in Serendipity.
After much reading it seems my admin sidebar under 'Appearance' only shows plugins and 'Manage styles' is not showing. See the screen shot attached to this post.
Can anyone help me?
I'm using Serendipity 1.5.5 and php 5.
