Preface
I have gravatar plugin, most time it reacted on gravatar or wavatar (as last resort). Today I tried it for twitter and get not expected result. There is error (or misinterpretation)?

Comments on this post was done with empty e-mail and different site-URLs, both targeted on twitter-profile lazybadger_net with non-default profile-avatar defined.
I expected to get BadgerNet_normal.jpg as commentator's avatar in blog, but get scaled favicon. Is it correct?

Can you show a screenshot or explain the exact options of your gravatar plugin? Then I would try to reproduce this.

Also, what email/URL did you enter in the comment you reference exactly? I would need this for reproducing the issue as well.

Your twitter names contains an underscore, which is not parsed by this twitter search:

http://search.twitter.com/search.atom?q ... _net&rpp=1

It seems twitter doesn't support lookups of such twitternames...

Okay, for lazybadger the XML is there and should be retrieved. I'll see that I add some debugging to the code so that we can add it to your site to see if it can work.
