Suggest Entries - no admin notification

I am once again testing the suggest entries plugin, and will likely use it on one of my sites. The plugin includes a configuration item for an admin email address which will be notified when the suggested entry has been submitted (and confirmed by the submitter). I am not receiving any admin notification. Any ideas as to why?

Also, when an entry is first submitted, the submitter must confirm the suggested entry before it becomes a draft entry. However, when the sitemap plugin is used, it emits the following:
Can this be suppressed for suggested entries, or when otherwise NOT in the admin backend?

Hi!
The plugin was sponsored/donated a few months ago, and there are some things that were prepared in the plugin but never executed. The "send email" is not implemented actually, but I think it should be easy to add.
I've just commited a new version of the plugin that should hopefully properly address both things.
