I'm running Serendipity for my gardening club. I'd like to have Standard Editors view the Media Gallery but with no toolbars. Is there some way to do that? Is there some other way to simply display the images in the Media Gallery?

That sound like a Backend question view, but as of not finding a cause why you should want this, while there normally aren't any toolbars, I think you are talking about viewing the mediagallery output in the frontend, aren't you?

Yes, there are some plugins which can do so.

Assuming serendipity_event_usergallery could be what you are looking for.

Under any user's "Personal Settings" is an option labeled "Show toolbar within media selector popup?". Is this possibly what you are looking for?

I remembered darkly having seen something like this, but couldn't find it in the hurry.
So this will be the better answer, thanks Don.

Basically, some of my users are less than tech savvy - they are tech skittish - so I wanted them to see the photos without overwhelming them.

Thanks for all the suggestions. I loaded the Gallery Display (usergallery) plugin and that should do the trick!

Is there any alternative to Gallary Display tool bar ?
