problem with another CMS

Hi, this is my 1st post since I have installed serendipity;
I did not start to use it, because something strange happened :
I had prestashop installed in a folder named 'boutique' and installed serendipity on the root of my host.
Since I have serendipity working (back-office and blog) I can't access the shop nor the back-office, I have a "500 internal server error".
Is it a problem of .htaccess ?
Thanks

Can you post a URL?

Hi!

500 Error is usually a php problem or a general server issue, also possible due to .htaccess. You might need to ask your provider where you can find the CGI/PHP error log to be able to see what the error exactly contains.

Might be an unsupported directive in your .htaccess file.

Regards,
Garvin

I agree with Garvin for the likely reason.... but the link you posted do not take me to a serendipity installation, merely an "under construction" page. This is probably being generated by a static index.html page. If you do have such a page in your root web folder, delete or rename it.
