hidden caterories ???

hi there, i create lots of caterories on my blog, and some of them which contain the information that i want only me(admin) can view them, is it possible for me to do that? if so, please show me how..

No, there is currently no way to make categories hidden.

You can only hide entries from users by using the "entryproperties" plugin.

You can "fake" hidden Categories this way:

1. Remove the "categories" sidebar plugin and create a HTML Nugget with your category listing (you can use the html output of the categories plugin and modify it). There you can only show the categories you want to show.

2. Using the entryproperties plugin, mark every entry inside your hidden categories as "private", then those articles will not appear on the startpage.

Now only if you are logged in to your blog you can see the entries of the category. Even if users would guess the ID of your category and access it by URL-guessing, they would not see the entries inside there then.
