error retrieving new plugin list

Hi,
I have "Powered by Serendipity 1.5.4 and PHP 5.3.2-1ubuntu4.2"
I just updated from ubuntu 8.04LTS to 10.04LTS. with 8.04 all worked well (with s9y 1.5.4 too).
Now, when I try to check for new plugins I got this message:
-----BEGIN ERROR------
Trying to open URL package_sidebar_en.xml...
The URL http://s9y.org/mirror/package_sidebar_en.xml (IP 178.63.83.86) could not be opened. Maybe the Serendipity or SourceForge.net Server is down - we are sorry, you need to try again later.
(The repository returned error code 404.)
Unable to retrieve data from SPARTACUS repository. Checking for repository availability on http://s9y.org/.
It was not possible to download the required files from the Spartacus repository, but the health of our repository was retrievable. This means your provider uses a content-based firewall and does not allow to fetch PHP code over the web by using mod_security or other reverse proxies. You either need to ask your provider to turn this off, or you cannot use the Spartacus plugin and need to download files manually.
Fetched 103784 bytes from already existing file on your server. Saving file as /var/www/s9y/templates_c/package_sidebar_en.xml...
----END ERROR----
If I tr to manually retrieve http://s9y.org/mirror/package_sidebar_en.xml, the browser gives me a 404 error.
I don't think is a problem of my provider but in any case there is a way for me to check it?
What can I do?
Thanks Bye Jack
