Hello, I am using netfirms.com Advantage Hosting plan. I download the Serendipity 0.8 and try to install it.

I choose the expert installation, it said i am complete the installation. but then when i try to click the link to the blog, it is a error pages

Erase your .htaccess file, go to Serendipity Configuration and do not choose "mod_rewrite" or "Apache Errorhandling" for the URI Rewrite option. Instead choose "none".

You get the error message because you specified one of the other options without your host supporting mod_rewrite or .htaccess AllowOverride ALL.

thank you so much! i can solve the problem with deleting the .htaccess file.
