Where's the License?

I spent a good half hour searching this website for any mention of a license and/or the words "Open Source". Maybe I just don't know where to look but I had no luck at all. I'm working on the latest issue of my ezine, http://www.freelists.org/list/donspatch, and wanted to mention serendipity as a free and Open Source alternative to wordpress but I can't list it if I can't confirm my contention. As I type this, I can see the the words OpenSourcePress in a short paragraph near the top of the page but that paragraph is in German which I don't speak (or read) so that's not much help. I'll go ahead and list serendipity but I'll have to qualify the listing by saying it's costless and Open Source (to the best of my knowledge). This annoys me very much. I registered for the sole purpose of complaining about this. Delete this post if you must but, please, If serendipity is free and Open Source, add that information to your FAQs.
