I'm using GoDaddy as my hosting service, and I have a 1000+ entry blog using Serendipty 0.8.1 and a clean install of 1.4.1. How do I migrate the old MySQL database / populate the new database? (Backups are all made, etc... just not sure what the easiest way to deal w/ all the database changes from 0.8.1 to 1.4.1.
Thanks,
Chris Lehmann

Hi!
Just to clarify: Simply upload the s9y release via FTP, then the automatic upgrader script will update the database for you...no "re-population" needed, the DB can stay the same and just gets a few new columns/tables.

Garvin

Thanks... that's insanely easy. Of course, I have *no* idea if I can make that happen w/ GoDaddy.
