I use Apache/2.0.39 PHP/4.2.2 and MySQL 1.3.

When i load the start page and click 'install' it loads for about 1 min. then it show a blue site with the text 'Serendipity installation' as the only thing on the page. The IE blue top-bar says ' Serendipity Administration suite'.

What shall i do from here ? seems like somthing is missing.

Anyone have a idea of what the problem is ?

Yep, by default apache on NT uses port 8080. Change it to port 80 and it should all spring into life.
Don't forget to stop IIS if you have it loaded.

Peteri > My Apache server is set to listen on port 80 and IIS is not running.. so that not the problem.. i am running postnuke from the same server without any problems.

Hmm I found out what the problem was by using Mozilla and hitting stop as the error messages were in an endless loop (With IE it seemed to hang and stop didn't do anything). Once I'd spotted that the problem was with port 8080 I think all I did was change the port.
I was using PHP 4.3.4. If you want exact versions I can probably sort something out but it's on my work machine.
