running most recent 1.4 version of s9y

error: Cannot write to directory /var/www/html/websitename/templates_c. Please check the permissions.Query failed:

I'm can't get to the computer physically! I VNC connect to maintain this.

This is a family site so I changed the name in this posting.
A family member posted some pictures from another location. A previous issue I had to deal with is when a posting was made of a file that was not a jpeg to mysql. That didn't stop me though from fixing it from here on VNC.

Oh and this at the bottom of a bunch of Serendipty code

I've got three other s9y websites running on this server and they all report the same. So it has to be the opening of S9y and the connection to the database


So this suggests that mysql is the problem? Gees I hope there's a simple solution

any suggestions on what I should try. I can get (eventually someone to reboot the Fedora 9 system)

Hi!

You need to get in touch with the server provider so that they can fix permissions. There's obviously something very wrong with the server not serendipity itself.
