s9y 0.8 - Commenting causes trouble in special setup

Hi there!
First I wanna thank all the Developers of S9y!!
You Do a great job. With the .8 release you did a great leap forward in userfriendliness and easyness thanks again!
Still I have a problem with my my two serendipity installations.
I use a special setup, where two blogs run seperateley and are linked together via a frameset (I know frames are very BAD, but i need these two blogs both linked togther AND standalone and couldn't think of an other solution which is as easy to realize, so sorry for that...):
http://www.twinblog.de/test.html
If i place a comment on the left blog, and afterwards try to comment on the right one, the comment will not appear most of the time. I deleted all cookies and tried again, still nothing. Unfortunateley no error message either.
Could someone pleas give me a hint?
thanks

So both blogs are completely nurelated to each other? Both use a different database?
Did you already try to call them seperately and not in the frameset, and then comment on the blog one after the other?
Which event plugins do you have installed? Maybe it's the Spam Protector doing some magic?
Am I allowed to make test/dummy comments in the blog? Then I could also try a few things.
Regards,
Garvin

spamblock is active indeed,
and gravatar, text-format: nl2br, text-format:serendipidy, text-format: smilies, statistics and browser-format.

(the guest post is also mine, forgot to log in, sorry)
i could post once to the second blog... this was when i called the blog seperateley and not in the frame, but I could only post once... and din't succeed afterwards
EDIT: the antispam Plugin is the source of evil... if I deactivate it - everythin works just fine... but still - spamprotection would be a good thing.

Just try to deactivate the "IP-check interval" option, I think that one is causing your trouble.
However if your applications really use different tables, the spamblock plugin shouldn't really interfer on two distinct installations.

the two blogs use two different prefixes for their tables (77_ and 83_). this should make them independent, i think?
the installation directorys are completeley different.

the ip-block interval was set to 0... (i think this is default).
If i'm not wrong, this disables ip-check?

Yes, okay - that was the right setting then. Could you please post a screenshot of your spamblock configuration options?
I am thinking that maybe the problem could be session/cookies that are using the same values because both blogs are on the same server. I'd have to check which of the spamblock options may then block a site...

Garvin
... okay here you go

Do you currently have the spamblock plugin disactivated again? I just commented on the two blogs without a problem.
Maybe you can mail me privately so that we can try to get our heads together for a debugging session. I still don't know how to reproduce it...

Garvin

I don't have any problems now either.
The only thing which was different then was, that the captcha plugin kicked in since i wanted to comment on 2 older posts. Perhaps this caused the trouble. But since it doesnt interfere with the new posts this doesn't concen me to much.
