Feature recommendation: /plugins/ permissions

I have run into this several times, and I think this is worth considering...

Fresh installs - we check permissions of "root", templates_c, archives, uploads, etc. Non writable results in a critical error on those folders... I suggest a warning error (not critical) for /plugins/... spartacus, which I think the majority use, cannot download plugins if that folder is not writable.... I know the plugin has options for 777, etc.... but I think it might be worth coding the soft warning into the fresh install screen.

Hi!

I agree, this is a good suggestion. I wouldn't like to make it mandatory, but giving a pointer should be very helpful, yes.

I'll try to find time to add this!

Garvin
