How to install coppermine to work with Serendipity

I just installed Serendipity and I have sorted out the site layouts etc with few problems. I like what I see so far.
What I want to do now is add a photo gallery. Coppermine is the usual choice it seems but nowhere can I see how you install Coppermine to work with Serendipity. Coppermine looks like a complete application but I cannot see how you integrate the gallery into Serendipity.
Can anyone offer some quick pointers please?
