i have funpic.org as my host, but on the install page i get this:

The rest is fine...

does anyone know how to fix this?? i have phpadmin at my host

It simply means that this function is disabled for security reasons on your host. But that's no serious problem, as you can see it still works and is not used for important things.

ok, but when i go to the installation and i have complete it, and try to visit my site i get this page:

http://gupenjanis.gu.funpic.org/

pretty weird eh??

It seems your hoster does not allow .htaccess files on your server. Delete that file.

However you have to make sure that "URL Rewriting" is set to "None" in the installer/configuration, because this will only work with .htaccess.

I'm sure you will find more problems with funpic hosting, they seem to be paranoid about security.
