Continuing my abuse of the static page custom fields, I just encountered another problem.
If I create/edit static page "X", then move onto static page "Y", the custom fields shown for "Y" (or any other subsequent static page view) are the values for the first one.
I can create them one at a time, and the proper values are being stored in the table, but when I edit one, even if I do not save anything, then move onto a different static page, the values for that first will be shown.... if I happen to save that latter static page, without having noticed that my custom fields had changed, I will then overwrite the values. It is as if the custom field values for that first static page viewed/edited (in admin mode, not front end) are cached, and carry forward to subsequent page views.

Re: Static pages: custom field problem
Thanks Garvin - I have tested your modifications on 2 different installs. It seems to be working fine.
