Login Box - how do I make it go away

Post by lauri »

I am a real newbie to this whole thing and my blog is set up and working (mostly) The problem is I have a login box displayed in the top left corner of every page on my site now. How do I make this go away? I do not want people to be able to login to my blog. :? Please Help!

Well, first of all they won't be able to log in if they don't have a user/passwort combination :)

Second, you should always state an URL to your blog so we can take a look at it "live". I'm not even sure whether that's a template-based login box or a sidebar plugin ... :)

sorry, the website is williamalty.com and the blog URL is http://williamalty.com/blogweb/index.php

I don't have a problem if the login box appears on the blog page....the problem is that it appears on every page and is changing the way that the homepage (and other pages) look. Is there any way to move the box or have it only appear on the blog page?

That looks like a generic php website with an embedded s9y, right? As far as I can see, this login box isn't even part of s9y, it seems to be part of the website surrounding it ..?

In that case, I'm out :) (Not a php coder.) Maybe Garvin can help?

Hi!

Yeah, that login box does not come from Serendipity itself. Someone must have coded that for you?!
