How do I add a logo above everything in my blog?
I need a special theme?

I strongly suggest an update to s9y v1.4.1 (the latest release), and after that to use the new default theme based on Bulletproof.
Bulletproof has a very easy-to-use built-in option to use an image from the media database as the header image.
