Selective RSS feed from categories

Hello everyone,
Is it possible to create a selective RSS feed, i.e. choose a set of categories for a feed?
Like, there are 10 categories. I would like to offer a feed for categories 1-5 and another feed for categories 6-9. Category 10 should not be in the feeds at all. The feeds then should be accessible via permalinks (that I know how to achieve using rewrites).
Is that possible without haveing to change core files?
