There is no security system which is 100% safe. The most likely solution in this case would be for someone to simply spam your comment form manually, i.e. to fill out the form and captche. Other than that, see:

Is it pure comment spam, or trackback spam?

yellowled: it appears automated. as whoever submits it could have some mind and puts good name or even makes it looks a bit better.
Don Chambers: never got any trackback spam, all comments
here is a screenshot of the spam i got the past 2 hours

Definitely get yourself an akismet key from wordpress.com.
In addition to that, here are configuration options I like in the spam protector plugin... these are not every option, just deviations from defaults:
Reject comments which only contain the entry title – Yes
Trackback/Pingback: ip validation – reject.
How to treat comments made via APIs – moderate
Check trackback/pingback URLs : Yes.
How many links before a comment gets moderated: 3
How many links before a comment gets rejected: 6
Akismet key: WHATEVER from wordpress.com
Hide E-Mail addresses of commenting users - yes
Choose logging method : File
