MySQL and flat files!

Post by ameo »

my mysql just wen down for the first time.. right now i worship flatpress but i'm so attached to s9y!.

at this moment i'm thinking why can't s9y support both MySQL backend and flat files so when the db server is down it can still rock!

Hi!

Serendipity supports SQLite, you can use that. It's like flatfiles.

Apart from that: Backup early, backup often. ;)

plus: Pure flatfiles suck a lot, they perform like snails.
