Hi folks,

the subject tells the story. After I glanced through this forum, here's what I have done so far:

Checked that URL-Rewrite is off.
Checked that I did not touch the .htaccess.
Did not thouch PHP- or Lang-Files.
Checked that my editor does not set BOM.
Imageprocessing runs via GDlib, no imagemagick is installed.
Checked that I visit my blog as a normal user.
Checked that there are images in serendipity_event_spamblock/

Right now I'm lost.

So you may have a look on my test-installation at

http://blog.trebbel.bplaced.net/serendipity/

What I've seen so far is that there are two other s9y-installations at bplaced - and captchas are running.

Thanks in advance.

cu.

hi,
you've closed the comments on your blog so i was unable to try commenting , yet there is an option in the spam protector plugin to either enable or hide captcha.

Admin>configure plugins>spam protector

Hi ameo,

comments are allowed on the last entry near the bottom of the page:

Update:

Just to give it a shot: I 've tried recaptcha which worked out fine. Images are shown. Apparently recaptcha needs a PHP-function, which is turned off on bplaced.

Any hints? ;)

Given up.

Did a second installation to see if it works. And captchas are on. So I do not waste my time searching the needle in the haystack. :?

H ameo!
There is too much black on your page it's not that eye friendly
That's exactly what I wanted. This is "eyefriendly" to me. :D I know there are people who like it a little bit brighter - so the next step is something like a styleswitch, so that people can choose between day and night.
