Hello again. I am running a multiuser blog. Is there a way for me to admin the entries that my users are posting?
My site is
www.prowlser.com if you need to look at it.
Thanks.

This is a function of group admin rights.... You can define how those rights are enabled from the backend Administration -> Manage Groups. If you have the same, or greater than, rights, you can do anything you want to other author's posts.

Maybe you misunderstood me. What I mean is there a way for every post to come to me first so that I can approve it before it goes live? I have looked at the group rules and everything and I didn't see anything.
I thought at one point that I seen specific user entry rules that would allow me to set perameters such as how many <a> they can have and stuff like that. Now I can't find it.

Hi!
What you can do is use the group privileges to not allow any editor/group other than you/yourse to publishEntries. This way, all editors can only create "Draft" posts which you have to edit first to set them to "Published".

The only thing I remember that comes close to this is the "entrycheck" plugin that configures whether an author must supply a category or not.
I believe you are confusing this option with an option of th espamblock plugin, that treats a comment as spam if it has X hyperlinks in it.

So if I set the group settings to not allow them to publish will it alert me when someone is finished with a post and ready to publish?

Hi!
This somehow falls into the "workflow plugin" discussion, to which no official plugin exists yet. So no, currently there is no notification system. You would need to login from time to time to check the latest new drafts.
An alternative to that would be to utilize the "Suggest entries" plugin. Then people could write entries for you on the frontend (without actually being blog authors) and you would get notifications of these kinds of entries via mail, and would publish them just like you publish draft entries in the first variant. But this time with mail notification... The drawback would be that the authors of those articles would not be usual blog authors.

Garvin

I found where you can go and edit this for individual users but I did not find it under manage groups. Is it there? If so what is the name?
Thanks a lot for all of your help.

HI!
Hm. My bad. Indeed, you cannot change that on a per-group basis, only per-user. :-/
