hi all,

i am running serendipity 1.3.1 and php 4.4.9 plus the staticpage plugin (3.72).

how can i set in the staticpage plugin the backend template to "all fields" as a standard for all backend-users?

Hi!

Why would you want to? The new default view is IMHO much better. :)

You could create your own default backend template as a default, and this template could contain the same listing like "all fields", if you like. The "internal" old representation without templates cannot be enabled by default, it must be selected frmo the dropdown.

i have to insert pictures to nearly every post - so i always need the buttons for inserting pictures... and they are not available in "simple template" ;-)

Hi!

Well, they should be! They are here for me...please show me a screenshot of how your "simple template" view looks like. It should contain a usual Editor display just like when you create a blog entry.

hi all,

just wanted to post garvins solution for this problem:

the fact, that the wysiwyg-editor wasn't shown in the simple view was due to some problems with the php4-version i have running.

garvin made a patch for the official plugin, so if you are running
serendipity 1.3.1 and php 4.4.9 plus the staticpage plugin (3.72) it should work now.

thanks a lot, garvin!
