Guestbook Plugin

Hi

I have downloaded and installed the guestbook plugin onto my host server. Loaded it through the admin page, it has saved it, but I can't find it to use it. What have done wrong. I used the additional plugins from CSV. What is the path to the guestbook?

It should be http://yourblog/index.php?serendipity[s ... =guestbook

I have got the guestbook up and working. Is there a way of editing or deleting entries

I must admit I've never used the plugin, so I can't tell. You could use phpMyAdmin and browse the guestbook table and delete it there, though.

I deleted directly from the database. That looks to be the only way at present, I may write something to cover this issue.

I want to try this plugin but i won't work. It didn't create the nessecary table and returns an empty content when i request the URL.

I tried to create the table manually but no result. the plugin isn' t workunk yet.

I'm using s9y 0.7.1 isn't the plugin compatible with this?

Did you install the guestbook plugin?

As I see, you have a german language blog: If you installed the plugin you can find in the settings:

Statische url
definiert die URL unter der die Seite erreichbar sein soll ( serendipity[subpage]=name )

There you have to write in "guestbook"

If after that the fault isn´t eliminated we have to look deeper...

HI !
I have already installed the guestbook. Then i looked for a URL, but there was no advice. If i looked in this forum for a possible url i found the url i postet above - i used it and got this error. at the plugin-advice at the admin-panel there is no advice of an possible url.

but there is no advice, only the startpage will be shown !

Just a misunderstanding.
In this field only type "guestbook"

then you can call it in your browser with www.mydomain.tdl/.../index.php?serendip ... =guestbook

You need to replace "serendipity[subpage]=XXX" where XXX is the value of the configuration directive you entered for "Title of the Page". By default this is "Gaestebuch". So if you did not change anything there you can call the plugin with: index.php?serendipity[subpage]=Gaestebuch.

Editing
