Comments not getting through; spam prevention string

I recently discovered that NO comments were making it onto my blog (and here I thought no one was reading it!). I checked settings and all appears in order. I attempted to leave a comment to a post on my own blog and the spam prevention and security string rejected five out of five attempts to copy what was in the box. Some are very difficult to read, but even those with clear letters/numbers were turned down making the posting of a comment impossible. What gives?

Hi!

This is a "simple" PHP session problem. You configured your s9y to use "botanicalgardening.com" as the URL, but you use "WWW.botanical..." everywhere.

You either need to only use ONE of those, or you need to enable the option "Autodteect HTTP-Host" in the s9y configuration.

HTH,
Garvin

Thanks Garvin...don't know why that would have happened mid-stream. I did get comments early on...and then they dried up. I went with the config solution and hope it will end the dilemma. I'll test and get back to you if there are continuing problems.

"Simple" PHP session problem? I'm a writer and photographer...I know nothing about this stuff. Thanks so much for the simple fix. The "big-S" comes through again!
