Ah! Found the application LIVE WRITER was working, it is just setting the articles to publish 6 hours forward from both the real time and the time it says in the application.
I changed the plugin box back and forth GMT off and on to no affect.
Where could this 6 hour canard be coming from? I am usa central

Maybe your server time zone and your own time zone vary? WLW would in this case need to be set to another timezone (the one of your server)?

thanx... looking into the problem it is really about picking a past or future posting date that doesnt work well. If you just leave it alone it works okay.
