xinha editor path problem

Post by rj »

I always seem to screw up the relative paths in these things... :)

Is there any trick to xinha path?

I have the plugin installed under plugins

/serendipity_event_xinha

I downloaded and unzipped xinha in a directory inside
serendipity_event_xinha/xinha-nightly

My path in the plug in reads

/home/content/r/a/c/rackjite2/html/webkick/plugins/serendipity_event_xinha/xinha-nightly/

It doest find it and goes default...

thanx

I do not know the answer to the specific question, but the Xinha editor is standard in the upcoming 1.4 release which is available for beta download. See this post: http://board.s9y.org/viewtopic.php?t=14113

Perhaps it would be easier to upgrade to 1.4 than use the editor as a plugin?

Deacon - your English is fine! Sorry it is the only language I can speak!

s9y 1.4 beta is quite stable.... Garvin would not have released it if it was not. I've used it fairly extensively for several months. Lots of nice improvements!

Hello here together,

I had to learn the same lesson: no go, not this way.
(For there is no 'xinha-nightly', I modified the path
but every 'thang' I asked to return, silently refused
acting this way.)

So, I headed on doing what Don Chambers told me.
There was space and I filled it with the s9y 1.4 beta just to
have a look - a look forward, for December is coming in a rush.

Xinha is doing fine, this far I can tell now.

I also took that route and installed 1.4. And to top it off I and my NEWBIE crew of writers settled on LIVE WRITER so I have checked OFF WYSWYG editor all together. :)
