I wonder why I can not see these emoticons in my weblog like I can see them in this forum.
I just see this text,And I cannot even translate it:
Enclosing asterisks marks text as bold (*word*), underscore are made via _word_.
Standard emoticons like :-) and ;-) are converted to images.
Can annyone tell me how to make the emoticons to show up and the wysiwyg editor work?

You need to have the Emoticon Markup plugin activated and go to its configuration, set all the fields to "yes" and then you can just edit/create an entry and insert the ": - )" smilies. Then save the entry and when you view it on the frontend, you see the emoticons.

Garvin

I think I had some of the permissions set up wrong, because a new install is working fabulously!
