Hello again,
I can't get the User Self-Registration plugin to work. I have downloaded the one for the sidebar and the event plugin but everytime I try to sign up it tells me that I have entered the captcha wrong and I didn't pass the antispam test. I looked for answers in the FAQ and tried to search the forums but I had no luck.
Thanks for your help.

Re: User Self-Registration
Hi!
What's the URL of your page? Usually if you don't pass the captcha tests it could mean that your server's PHP sessions might not be properly working. With your URL I could try to sign up from here.
Regards,
Garvin

Re: URL
Hi!
This might be related to other configurations you made to the Anti-Spam plugin.
The adduser plugin simply embeds the usual anti-spam methods. When you enable things like Emergency Comment moderation, or even auto-moderation of everything, or specifiy required fields that do not occur in the Registration form, the antispam plugin will always return false as to the check.
Please show me the configuration of your antispam plugin, one of those options must be the culprit.

Garvin

It worked
That worked. I removed the anti-spam plugin and it excepted the user registration.
Now once the user self registered, how does the admin moderate the registration? I tried to find where it shows someone had registered but it is no where to be found.

Re: It worked
Hi!
You can configre the sidebarplugin and enable the option that an admin needs to approve the requests. Then you get an email with which you can enable the account.
Created users can only be confirmed via the email an admin receives. Pending authors are not shown on a frontend, they only exist in a staged database table, from which they are enabled when they activate the hashlink inside the mails they get.
Only once they are approved/confirmed they can be managed like usual authors.
